The Background
As a mental health provider, people look to you to better understand their experiences. Each day, you help your clients change the way they think, feel and behave. While these changes can play out in many aspects of clients’ lives, most fundamentally, all feelings, thoughts and behaviors begin in the brain.
The Problem
As a mental health provider, you know it’s essential to practice in an evidence-based way. You know it’s important to stay on top of that latest scientific breakthroughs, and that it’s important to understand all of the options that can help your clients. However, when you’re busy taking care of your clients’ needs all day long, it’s hard to find the time to read the latest scientific journal article, pay attention to what’s happening in neuroscience labs around the country, and understand how scientific breakthroughs are changing the face of mental health treatment.
The Solution
NeuroHealth Partners is offering an efficient and effective way to learn about the brain's role in behavioral change. Join us for this self-paced, online training program to learn about discoveries from the field of neuroscience that will allow you to bring new insights to your work with clients.

In this innovative program, you’ll cover topics like:
  • State of the Research: What is the state of neuroscience research and how will it affect our work in the future?
  • The Science of Change: What can research tell us about the science of change--how it happens and why it sticks?
  • Self-Regulation: What is it, why’s it important and how does it relate to brain-body wellness?
  • Habits: Where are habits stored in the brain and how can we help people develop healthier habits that stick?
  • The Paradox of Progress: How we can harness the momentum of moving backwards to propel us forward?
  • The Science of Resilience: What can we learn from the study of resiliency, high-performance and leadership that can help our clients?
  • Cognitive Resources: How can we leverage neurocognitive abilities to sustain change?
The training program is:
  1. Engaging: It’s story based, so there will be real examples—this means, it’s designed to be fun and interesting!
  2. Evidence-based: We draw from the scientific literature
  3. Practical: You’ll get concrete tools, strategies and ideas that you can put immediately to use in your work
